Help Texas Discovery Gardens Win $10,000 Grant

by Stephanie Suesan Smith on February 15, 2012

Texas Discovery Gardens is trying to win the Rain Bird’s 2012 “The Intelligent Use of Water Awards“.  This is a $10,000 grant to allow them to capture water left over after they water all of their plants each day so it can be reused instead of going down the drain.  Watch this video which explains a little more about their grant application and what you can do to help them win — vote for them, for free, up to once a day.

Once a day between now and March 15th, go online and vote for Texas Discovery Gardens.  There is no registration or sign in required.  With our drought, we need to help everyone conserve water as much as possible.  Vote as often as you can to help the Texas Discovery Gardens do their part with this water reclamation project.
